I thought this was a really creative way to make a post about Twitter - by using tweets themselves to make up part of the blog post! Hopefully your followers weren't too confused by the tweets they were seeing...
Interesting idea using it to keep parents informed about things happening at school. I think it is a great idea in principle, but you might struggle to implement it in real life across an entire classroom - some parents are bound to resist the idea! But then again, perhaps a combined approach of Twitter and sending notes home would be more reliable than just the notes on their own... after all, they have a tendency to get squashed in the bottom of the schoolbag, along with mushy bananas and the elusive homework.
